Getting Started
Most schools are live within one business day. You fill in the get-started form, and our team configures your portal, imports your student roster, and sets up your fee structure. We handle everything.
No. EdCo is entirely web-based. Admin staff use a browser. Parents access the portal from any browser or mobile device — nothing to install or download.
Yes. We import from Excel or CSV. Share your student list in any reasonable format and we handle the import during onboarding.
We provide a full CSV export of all your data within 5 business days of a cancellation request. After cancellation, data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.
Payments & 1Bill
Parents can pay using: bank branch over the counter (printed challan), internet banking or mobile app (1Bill), JazzCash, Easypaisa, or debit/credit card online through 1Link.
Each student receives a unique 18-digit 1Bill reference number. Parents enter this at any bank branch, ATM, or mobile wallet to make a payment. EdCo provides real-time balance information to the payment channel — so the parent always pays the correct outstanding amount.
Funds are remitted to your school's bank account per the 1Bill / 1Link settlement schedule — typically 1–2 business days. Exact timing depends on your payment gateway agreement.
Yes. Staff mark vouchers as paid after receiving cash, recording the payment method and reference number. The payment history and receipts update immediately.
Features & Plans
Yes. You can create multiple fee plans and assign them to different classes, sections, or individual students. Each plan can have different components, amounts, and due dates.
Yes. Any fee voucher can be split into instalments. Each instalment is automatically added as a line item on the student's next regular voucher — no separate challan slips for instalments.
Yes. Discounts can be applied per student, per class, or through label-based groups. For example, a "Staff Child" label can carry an automatic 50% discount for every tagged student.
Yes. One EdCo account manages multiple campuses. Each campus has its own classes, sections, and fee plans. Admins can report across all campuses or filter by branch.
EdCo uses the Meta WhatsApp Business API to send automated fee reminders before and after due dates. You configure the reminder schedule in fee settings. Each message is sent to the designated primary guardian's WhatsApp number.
Privacy & Security
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Each school's data is logically isolated — no other school can access it. We run on Google Cloud with daily automated backups.
Only your school's authorised staff and EdCo's engineering team (for support purposes only) can access your data. We do not sell or share data with any third party.
EdCo collects only what is necessary to operate the service. Our Privacy Policy details precisely how we handle, store, and process data. We do not use student or parent data for any purpose beyond delivering the service your school has contracted for.
