Why we built EdCo
Every school we spoke to had the same story. Finance staff buried in manual ledgers. WhatsApp groups used for reminders. Printed challan slips that parents lose. Monthly bank statement reconciliation that took days.
The software available was either outdated desktop tools or Western SaaS products with no understanding of 1Bill, quarterly cycles, or multi-guardian families. Neither was designed for how Pakistani schools actually operate.
EdCo changes that. Built from the ground up for the Pakistani education sector — with the payment channels parents already use, the workflows finance staff already follow, and the reporting school management actually needs.
